Rev. June Tamburro is an ordained clergy in the United Methodist Church and currently serves as Associate Pastor at the Bridgewater United Methodist in New Jersey.  June curates the Bible Study Resources section of Compassionate Christianity.

June holds a Masters of Theology from Drew University Theological School where she received awards for excellence in both Old Testament and Biblical studies.  Her work in the church focuses on adult education and small group ministries.  She has a passion for social justice and previously worked at Rutgers School of Criminal Justice to provide higher education in the New Jersey State prisons.  June has also led bible studies at a women’s prison and spent a year as a hospital chaplain.

June and her husband, Gerry, are fitness enthusiasts and own a gym in central New Jersey near where they reside.  They love to travel and spend time with their two young adult children.
