Dr. Reginald Bell, Jr., a native of Birmingham, AL, attributes his accomplishments to a decision he made in elementary school, which was to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6). Ordained since 2003, he has served at various churches as a Senior Pastor; Assistant Pastor; Associate Pastor of Evangelism, Preaching, and Teaching; Youth and Young Adult Pastor; and Student Chaplain. His insatiable thirst for knowledge motivated him to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Birmingham Southern College in 2004, a Master of Divinity from Emory University: Candler School of Theology in 2007, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Communication from The University of Memphis in 2015. Finally, Pastor Reginald is proud to serve as Co-executive editor of The African American Pulpit Journal, on the board of The African American Lectionary, and as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
